The WBF/ECatsBridge Charity Pairs
The Charity Pairs were held over 6 days starting on Monday 25th January and ending on Saturday 30t
It was originally announced that the funds would go to UNICEF, but the recent earthquake in Haiti has prompted us to change that, and this year we will be supporting the Haiti Disaster Fund.
You have raised a staggering £31.541 ! Truly amazing. Bridge players really are fantastic people. Thank you all so much for your kindness and generosity.
The 2010 World Bridge Series
The World
Bridge Federation has announced that the 2010 World Bridge Series will be staged at the Marriott Hotel in Philadelphia from 1st - 16th October 2010. We just can't get over it - you beat last year's total. By a margin. You have raised a staggering £58,889.37 ! How do you manage it. Thank you all so so much. You are wonderful. Thanks Phillip Alder who wrote it, Peter Hasenson who helped by getting him the information and Frances Hinden for playing the hand so well !
