Set up the game as a regular club master point game
After the scores are finalized, use the WORLD command to create the files necessary for ECats. Use the correct 4 digit session number. Press F9 when finished completing the form. Follow the on-screen instructions (press P to print the instructions).
This will create four text files called p.txt. r.txt, c.txt and e.txt and they are the ones we need. They will (I think) be in the directory where ACBL Score is installed. Attach them all to a single email (do NOT zip them) and email them to results@simpairs.com and they will be picked up by our scoring engine and be scored for you. DO NOT include any messages with them - we won't see them. Email bridge@ecats.co.uk if you need us to see a message from you.
You may have tried to send the wrong file - make sure that when you
run the World Option, you telling it the correct session number.
If you send the files with the wrong session number, then they won't appear. We cannot use the
.ACE files.
If you are scoring more than one session then you must be
careful to upload your first session (presumably the first
day) and double check that it appears on the site BEFORE you
create the files for the second session. The files will have
the same name and will, therefore, overwrite those for the
first session. Also be very careful to put the club name differently
for each session (e.g. Railway Bridge Club Friday and Railway
Bridge Club Saturday) or the files could over write each other
on the server.
