Should the club award Master Points?
As long as you are affiliated to one of the following Home Unions: England, Northern Ireland or Wales or to your own Federation, yes, you may award your own master points as you would for a normal club night - and most clubs do so. However, you may not do so if you are a member of the Scottish Bridge Union.
If you don't intend to award them, then this should be made clear when announcing the event.
Clubs should not issue overall master points based on the overall ranking. These are issued by the sponsoring organisation - often by ECatsBridge - and are sent to the clubs after the event in the case of clubs outside England, or for English clubs are registered directly with the English Bridge Union.
